Dwarf Sagittaria is a great plant for aquarists new to planted tanks, it is relatively undemanding and will propagate readily to form an easy grass-like carpet. Dwarf Sagittaria Subulata aka Dwarf Sag is a great and undemanding foreground plant that can do well in low to medium light. A rich nutrient substrate is required and CO2 is optional. This plant grows very fast in the right environment.
Dwarf Sag is one of my top 5 favorite aquarium plants. Anyone who wants a great hardy plant should give Dwarf Sagittaria or Dwarf Sag a try. 6-8 stems or more I usually have a ton of this so you gotta try it out Great grower. 1st plant I did for Species Sunday. Its awesome.
You have to try Sagittaria subulata more commonly known as Dwarf Sagittaria, especially if are just getting into the hobby. It is one of my favorite plants because it grows like crazy. It looks and grows like grass. Dwarf Sagittaria will keep growing and growing with runners on your tank.
It stays short and only gets about 3-5 inches tall so you can run it as a nice fore to mid ground plant. When I first got Dwarf Sagittaria I spread it out pretty thinly in a wide open space in my 125 gallon planted tank. It soon grew in full and started to head into other parts of the tank that I didn't exactly want it to grow into.

LIVESTOCK
We guarantee live arrival on all of our livestock. In the rare event livestock shows up dead, we must be notified within 24 hours. Keep in mind these plants just took the journey of their lifetime in a dark box for 2-4 days so they will take time to recover and be at their best again. Please Take clear photos of the dead product and send it to us within 24 hours of receiving the item and once the item is validated by us we will send a replacement or refund minus the cost of shipping. Failure to comply with one or more of these policies will mean we can no longer cover you.
If you are concerned about extreme heat or cold, we highly recommend having the post office hold your mail for the estimated delivery day. This is a completely free option which can be requested online via www.usps.com or in person at your local post office. This way, your package will remain indoors, protected, and out of the elements for you to pick up once the package has arrived.
We guarantee live arrival of all live stock. This means we assure that live stock will show up alive. We do not guarantee your success in keeping the livestock alive/healthy. Lots of outside factors that we cannot control go into the success or failure of keeping livestock healthy. We are here to help but are not liable after you have received the livestock alive.
