    A BRONZE WIDOW'S MITE COIN SET IN 14K GOLD
    103-76 B.C.
    Obverse: BASILEWS ALEXANDROU (King Alexander) around an anchor
    Reverse :An eight ray star (or wheel) surrounded by diadem, Hebrew inscription "Yehonatan the king" between the rays.
    An ancient bronze prutah (a small denomination coin) produced under Alexander Jannaeus in Judaea. Set in a solid 18K gold pendant produced by the finest Armenian-Jerusalemite jewellers. Found in Jerusalem. Coin in very good condition with natural, earthy, patina.
